"Properties of a socio-cultural or political system, as observed on a visible level, that reflect concepts or values rooted in a deeper level" (Fuschl Conversations, May 2000 on "Social awareness")
The basic general organized level in such a system is the one of values and norms, explicit or implicit, generally of religious origin. If the explicit organization and behavior contradict the implicit values, the system's stability (and in cases, its survival) is at risk.
