GENOME and PHENOME 5)
← Back
In living systems, respectively the inherited potentialities, and the properties acquired during development.
M. BUNGE writes: "… while every organism inherits its genome, it evolves its own phenome in a given environment; the phenome depends then upon both the genome and the environment" (1979, p.101).
This defines a very general set of properties. It would be interesting to consider possible corresponding aspects in entreprises, institutions and other sociosystems.
