An ordered presentation, preferently in graphical or matricial form, of the various significant opinions that can be identified on some issue.

This method can be very useful in order to avoid what J. WARFIELD calls "underconceptualization", "clanthink" or more generally muddled thinking.

It provides a sound foundation for conflict resolution, conversation, negociation and design.
